Why bamboo wood is not burnt?

Is there a religious reason behind this or a scientific reason?

We often use different types of wood to burn for Havan or worship or cremation but have you ever seen bamboo wood burning during any work. no no?
According to Indian culture, tradition and religious significance, ‘Burning of bamboo wood is considered taboo in our scriptures.’

Even we use bamboo wood for the Arthi, but do not burn it in the pyre.

According to Hindu religion, burning bamboo causes Pitra Dosh, while the cord that holds the mother and the child together at the time of birth is also buried in the middle of the bamboo trees so that the lineage continues to grow forever.

Is there a scientific reason for this?

Lead and heavy metals are found in abundance in bamboo. Lead when burned forms lead oxide, which is a dangerous nerotoxic, heavy metals also form oxides on burning.

But the bamboo wood which is forbidden in the scriptures to be burnt even in the pyre, we burn that bamboo wood in incense sticks every day. A special chemical called phthalate is used to spread the aroma produced by the burning of incense sticks.

It is an ester of phthalic acid which enters the body with inhalation, thus the so-called aroma of incense sticks also transmits neurotoxic and hepatotoxic to the body with inhalation.

Its mere presence can cause cancer or brain stroke. A small amount of heptotoxic is enough to destroy the liver.

In the scriptures, there is no mention of incense sticks anywhere in the worship law, everywhere only incense is written, everywhere only incense, lamp and naivedya are described.

The use of incense sticks started with the advent of Islam in India. Muslim people burn incense sticks in the shrines.

बांस की लकड़ी को क्यों नहीं जलाया जाता है।

इसके पीछे धार्मिक कारण है या वैज्ञानिक कारण ?

हम अक्सर  हवन अथवा पूजन या दाह संस्कार के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार की लकड़ियों को जलाने में प्रयोग करते हैं लेकिन क्या आपने कभी किसी काम के दौरान बांस की लकड़ी को जलता हुआ देखा है। नहीं ना?

भारतीय संस्कृति, परंपरा और धार्मिक महत्व के अनुसार, ‘हमारे शास्त्रों में बांस की लकड़ी को जलाना वर्जित माना गया है। यहां तक कि हम अर्थी के लिए बांस की लकड़ी का उपयोग तो करते हैं लेकिन उसे चिता में जलाते नहीं।’

हिन्दू धर्मानुसार बांस जलाने से पितृ दोष लगता है वहीं जन्म के समय जो नाल माता और शिशु को जोड़ के रखती है, उसे भी बांस के वृक्षो के बीच मे गाड़ते है ताकि वंश सदैव बढ़ता रहे।

क्या इसका कोई वैज्ञानिक कारण है?

बांस में लेड व हेवी मेटल प्रचुर मात्रा में पाई जाती है। लेड जलने पर लेड ऑक्साइड बनाता है जो कि एक खतरनाक नीरो टॉक्सिक है हेवी मेटल भी जलने पर ऑक्साइड्स बनाते हैं।

लेकिन जिस बांस की लकड़ी को जलाना शास्त्रों में वर्जित है यहां तक कि चिता मे भी नही जला सकते, उस बांस की लकड़ी को हमलोग रोज़ अगरबत्ती में जलाते हैं। अगरबत्ती के जलने से उतपन्न हुई सुगन्ध के प्रसार के लिए फेथलेट नाम के विशिष्ट केमिकल का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

यह एक फेथलिक एसिड का ईस्टर होता है जो कि श्वांस के साथ शरीर में प्रवेश करता है, इस प्रकार अगरबत्ती की तथाकथित सुगन्ध न्यूरोटॉक्सिक एवम हेप्टोटोक्सिक को भी स्वांस के साथ शरीर मे पहुंचाती है।

इसकी लेश मात्र उपस्थिति केन्सर अथवा मष्तिष्क आघात का कारण बन सकती है। हेप्टो टॉक्सिक की थोड़ी सी मात्रा लीवर को नष्ट करने के लिए पर्याप्त है।

शास्त्रो में पूजन विधान में कही भी अगरबत्ती का उल्लेख नही मिलता सब जगह धूप ही लिखा है, हर स्थान पर धूप,दीप,नैवेद्य का ही वर्णन है।

अगरबत्ती का प्रयोग भारतवर्ष में इस्लाम के आगमन के साथ ही शुरू हुआ है। मुस्लिम लोग अगरबत्ती मज़ारों में जलाते हैं ।
